Beginning in Term 4 of 2010, Eastern Blades are participating in the Active After-School Communities (AASC) program. The aim of this goverment-funded initiative is to reach children who are not traditionally active and create pathways into local sporting clubs to keep them playing sport after the program has ended. Blades are very proud to support this initiative. If you are an AASC site in our area, please contact your Regional Co-Ordinator and tell them that you would like to run a hockey program. If your school is not an AASC site, we will be happy to try and arrange an alternative to expose your pupils to hockey. Please see the schools section for more detail.
